Minister Xhaçka welcomes her counterpart Quni: There is no stabilized region without Kosovo's integration

Albania will continue to be the best protector of the Republic of Kosovo’s interests in Euro-Atlantic structures.

The confirmation comes after the visit of Kosovo’s Minister of Defense Anton Quni to Tirana, who was received by the Minister of Defense Olta Xhaçka.

Minister Xhaçka congratulated her counterpart Quni on his new assignment and assured him of the Albanian government's unstinting support for Kosovo, co-operation in the field of Security and Defense, and the integration processes of the Republic of Kosovo. Albania reconfirms its participation in all missions, where the Albanian Armed Forces are committed. It was stated by the Albanian Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, at the Ministerial of Defense of 30 NATO member states, gathered for the second time online due to COVID - 19. 

The meeting was scheduled to be held in Tirana, but the pandemic of the last three months made it impossible to organize in our country, one of the most important annual events of the Alliance.

Thomson Academy of Non - commissioned officers (NCO), the nursery of new leaders, is the academy that molds servicemen not only ready to combat actions but also equipped with leadership skills.

At the academy are being resumed outdoor, the NCOs’ Beginner and Advanced Courses respecting the measures for the prevention of COVID - 19, aiming to further increase the professionalism of Albanian Armed Forces.

127 new recruits resume Basic Individual Training at the Troop School in Bunavi, Vlora

In the framework of the implementation of organizational and administrative measures throughout the conducting of the teaching/training process in Training and Doctrine Command institutions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, according to an order for this purpose, today was held the reception of 127 new recruits, of which 10 girls, who will resume the Basic Individual Training at the Troop School in Bunavi, Vlora.

Signing Ceremony for Black Hawk helicopters, Xhaçka and Ambassador Kim: “krah për krah” as distinguished allies

In a special ceremony held at Farka Air Base, the Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka and the US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim signed the contract of acceptance to equip the Albanian Air Force with Black Hawk helicopters. Helicopters, assisted by the US government, are expected to arrive in Albania soon, and for Minister Xhaçka, this contribution increases the capability of the Albanian Armed Forces.
